What are my rights and responsibilities as a Premier Taxis customer?

This serves to clarify your rights and responsibilities as a Premier Taxis customer when you hire and travel in our Silvercab, Silverstar and Silverarrow.

 

 

 Customer Rights

As a customer, it is your right  :

ü      Not be charged more than the metered fare when traveling in our taxi, or

ü      Not be charged more than the stipulated fare as advised on our taxi fare decal when travelling in our taxi

ü      To be given a printed receipt at the end of each taxi journey - upon request

ü      Not be unreasonably refused service

ü      To see drivers’ ID Card which is prominently displayed on the front windscreen

ü      To refer to the taxi fare structure displayed prominently on the left rear window glass

ü      To direct or advise the driver on your preferred route of travel to reach destination upon boarding our taxi

ü      To be served by a driver who is courteous and helpful

ü      To be served by a driver who is clean and neatly dressed

ü      To be served by a driver who knows the major routes and destinations

ü      To be carried in a clean and roadworthy vehicle

ü         To be helped if you have special needs related to disabilities

 

 

 

 Customer Responsibilities

It is your responsibility as a customer to :

ü   Agree to the fare before the journey begins – upon boarding our Silvercab, Silverstar or Silverarrow

ü     Pay the correct fare in full, including booking fees or any tolls

ü     Give proof of ability to pay fare if requested by driver

ü   Give details of name, NRIC No and contact number as verified against your identity card or supporting documents if you have insufficient money to make payment for the fare at the end of the journey. An amicable arrangement for making fare payment should be seek and agreed upon between you and the driver

ü      Behave in a civil and orderly manner

ü      Not damage or dirty the vehicle

ü      Not consume food or drinks in the vehicle

ü      Not smoke in the vehicle

ü      Comply with any reasonable request by the driver to leave or not enter the vehicle

ü      Not request the driver to exceed the number of passengers permitted to be carried in the vehicle

ü      Not expect the drivers to manoeuvre luggage when it may cause injury to them or others. Neither are they expected to carry more luggage than the reasonable capacity of the storage facilities of the vehicle

ü      Take care of your personal belongings

ü      Wear a seat belt upon boarding the vehicle

ü      Upon boarding the taxi, agree that drivers must obey and respect Singapore traffic rules and regulations

ü     Not to request the driver to drive in a manner that may lead to committing a traffic offence 

ü     Pay a Charge of SGD$30 if vomiting or spillage occurs
